Audrey's new look

Well, there comes a time in a little girl's life where her bangs finally grow long enough to hang in her eyes... What's a mom to do? Cut them... NOOOOO !!! not at my house anyway. I just can't bring myself to do it....not yet at least. So up they go... into a "tree" as my mom lovingly calls it! They are too short to pull any farther back and her hair is so thin...I can't find any clips that will hold well enough.

These pictures were taken at the end of a long day! Audrey went to preschool this morning and they reported that "She has great coordination! She likes to hop around like a bunny!" I'm glad to see that she feels free to be "herself" while she's at school! Ha! After I picked her up from her Grammie's house, Ryan and I played with her in the backyard for a long time and then we moved to the rocking chairs out front before we took a nice long walk. I am loving this nice weather.

Anyway, I put her hair up in the "tree" this morning and it lasted all day long...I guess I just wanted to explain that it did look a little better than this earlier in the day. I am still in shock that she stopped moving for approximately 10 seconds so I could attempt this.

This is proof that we actually do take pictures with Audrey...we just normally don't let other people see them.
