'round and 'round she goes...where she stops nobody knows...

Who am I kidding??? She'll never stop....

except when she wants to do abc's before bedtime! I had already started peeling her clothes off for bathtime and she ran in the office! There were some cuter ones, but mommy will only post the modest shots now that she's getting up in years!

Audrey is keeping us laughing. Tonight we were looking through picture albums and she was telling me who all the people were...and then all of a sudden she started sprinting in circles and laughing and then hopping..... I asked her what she was doing and she said "kangaROOOOOO!" Apparently there was a baby einstein about animals on in the background that snagged her attention!

Today I took her to toys r' us... I haven't been there in a long time. - maybe since last Christmas. I think I want all the toys in there for me. She looks at toys and occasionally will ask to see one, and then she just hands it back and says "bye bye" or "all done." She has never cried for a toy in the store...I wonder when that starts. Anyway, I bought her last 2 presents today so I am officially done with Audrey's Christmas and Birthday shopping. (We'll see if I can hold to that...) Now I just have to completely avoid the stores!

We took 2 walks today. Before lunch & her nap we walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed the great weather. Before dinner, I pulled her around in her wagon - we had so much fun!

She has started telling us that she loves us....this is the best thing in the world. I love to hear her say "I uv you too!" She still tells us when she wants to go "night night" and she is taking such good naps (3 hours...today 3 1/2)

She is doing great at school! She is quite fascinated with learning names...she knows all her teachers, the director, assistant director, her friends in class....anyone she comes in contact with. She also knows "who goes with who" For example, whenever I mention Aunt Stacy, she always brings up Chris (her boyfriend) Or tonight she saw a picture of Umpa Ted (Grandpa in Audrey terms if you need translation) and she immediately asked about Nin. She does that with all the grandparents and even her great-grandparents. I know it's normal for kids to learn names, but it really is something she loves to do.

School has encouraged her coloring quite a bit. She begs to color all the time....and I'm embarrassed to admit I've never bought her a coloring book. When she first started coloring I pulled out a Cinderella one that I bought when Ryan & I first got married. (I like to color too...) Anyway, she has worn it to shreds (no joke) and I haven't replaced it... bad mommy. Maybe I should add that to the Christmas list... (see how hard it's going to be to stop???? she's so fun to shop for...)

They painted with their feet the other day and she wanted to make sure that Grammie knew that it was her "foot" and not her "toes!" Maybe she'll be a little artistic...goodness knows her daddy & I aren't.
